I'm in std 12 and currently giving my boards. I just want to ask that how can I get admission to cse or aerospace engineering course in technical University of Munich . I want to take admission in this college in this winter intake only(probably starting from September). Is their any chance of getting admission there ? I don't want to waste my one year doing bachelors in India . #StudyAbroad #TechnicalUniversityofMunich #WinterIntake #CSEEngineering #AerospaceEngineering

Hi Dhruva,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

If you want to pursue a Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Aerospace Engineering course at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) during the winter intake starting in September, you'll need to follow these steps:

  • Research the Programs: Start by thoroughly researching the CSE and Aerospace Engineering programs offered by TUM. Understand their curriculum, admission requirements, and any specific prerequisites.
  • Check Eligibility: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for the programs you're interested in. Typically, this involves having completed your secondary education (12th grade or equivalent) with certain subject requirements and language proficiency (usually German or English).
  • Language Proficiency: TUM usually requires proof of proficiency in either German or English, depending on the language of instruction for your chosen program. If you're applying for an English-taught program, you may need to take tests like TOEFL or IELTS to demonstrate your English proficiency.
  • Entrance Exams (if applicable): Some programs may require you to take entrance exams such as the SAT, ACT, or subject-specific exams. Check the specific requirements for the programs you're interested in.
  • Application Process: Submit your application through TUM's online portal within the specified deadline. Make sure to provide all required documents, including transcripts, letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and any other requested materials.
  • Financial Planning: Consider the cost of studying abroad, including tuition fees, living expenses, and any additional costs. Research scholarships, grants, and financial aid options available for international students at TUM.
  • Visa Application: If you receive an offer of admission, you'll need to apply for a student visa to study in Germany. Make sure to start the visa application process well in advance and gather all required documents.
  • Housing: Look into accommodation options near the TUM campus. Many universities offer student housing, but it's essential to apply early as spaces can fill up quickly.

Regarding your question about the likelihood of getting admission to TUM for the winter intake, it ultimately depends on various factors such as your academic performance, fulfillment of eligibility criteria, competition from other applicants, and available slots in the programs you're applying to.

If you need further guidance on selecting the right program or university, feel free to book a free counseling session with our counselor by calling 1800-572-000 or emailing at [email protected].

Hope this helps!

Thank you.
