Located in Wallonia, Liege University is one of the largest public universities in Belgium. Although, French is the medium of instruction at the university, it offers courses in various other languages too. Currently, 24,522 students are enrolled across the various programmes- the university offers 38 bachelors, 200 masters, 65 advanced masters and doctorate programmes across various disciplines. Out of the 200 masters degree programs offered, 70% are taught in the English Language. Its tuition fee is low in comparison to other Belgium universities. More than 2000 students are currently enrolled in basic and applied research based programmes. The university engages in active participation in research projects in five cluster programs involving Wagralim, Biowin, Logistic in Wallonia, Skywin, and Mecatech.
