Western Sydney University, originally the University of Western Sydney, is a multi-campus Australian university located in Sydney's Greater Western district. The university was established in 1989 as a federated network university after the merger of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College and the Nepean College of Advanced Education. The university is affiliated with AACSB International, ACU, AHURI, IRU, AMC, CAPA, IAU and Universities Australia.
