Established in 1847, St Francis University is a private and Catholic co-educational university focused on providing high-quality Liberal Arts education. Within the United States, it is said to be the oldest Franciscan higher education institution. The university has continuously embraced modern values and was appreciated for its efforts when it was ranked at 23rd position in Regional Universities North by US News Best College Rankings 2020. It is situated in Loretto, Pennsylvania and in 2017 it witnessed a total enrollment of 2,289, out of which there are 1,726 undergraduate students and 563 graduate students.
