Started as Les Roches International School in the year 1954, the institute is located in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. Renamed to the Les Roches Global Hospitality Education in 2016 from Les Roches Hotel and Tourism School, it is counted amongst one of the leading hospitality Universities in the country. Scores of students hailing from different nations and backgrounds enroll in various programs spread across disciplines in the institute. It is also the primary hospitality institution in Switzerland to provide all classes in English. The central campus was practically destroyed by a fire in 1985 after which the university relocated into its fresh buildings in the year 1987. The institution has close links with the tourism, commerce, and hotel industry through a board of advisors from four major hotel series. Further, students also get trained in the Hotel Management courses by taking part in the Internships provided by the University. It is imperative to know that Global Hospitality Education has received accreditation from the CIHE of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
