Brunel University London was founded in 1966 and is a prominent UK university located in the west of London, in Uxbridge. It is a public research university named after Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The university was renamed Brunel University London in August 2014 after it was divided into three major research institutes and three colleges. It is a world-famous college that attracts students from over 150 nations due to its diverse academic offerings, progressive and international orientation, and high teaching standards. The university is accredited by the Association of Commonwealth Universities and European University Association. The university is ranked #368 worldwide according to the QS World University Rankings 2021 whereas it has been placed #351 - 400 as per Times Higher Education University Ranking 2021 Furthermore, the university is ranked as one of the top 400 universities in the world by QS World University Rankings 2022 and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 and has also secured #61 position in the Complete University Guide for 2022.
