The University of Sheffield‘s Faculty of Engineering rewards academic success by providing up to £3,000 in scholarships to international fee-status students beginning an undergraduate degree.

By awarding scholarships of up to £3,000 (₹ 2,94,000) to international fee-status students beginning an undergraduate degree in September 2023, the university’s Faculty of Engineering recognises academic distinction.

The Excellence Scholarship will be awarded to applicants who earn A-level grades of A*AA or higher (or the equivalent qualification in India).

Deadline for  Excellence Scholarships

The deadline for UCAS 2023 entry deadline for UG courses is June 30, 2023.

Eligibility for Excellence Scholarships

The University of Sheffield must be selected as the applicant’s top school preference on the UCAS application form in order to be considered for the scholarship.

Candidate must be enrolled in undergraduate studies.

For the purposes of paying tuition, one should be classified as an international student.

The candidates should be enrolled in all necessary courses for the degree they have chosen.

Award Money Rewarded

The scholarship will be offered in the form of a cash bursary to the students. The scholarship amount is dependent on the academic achievements of the applicant:

A*A A : £1,000 ( ₹ 98,000)

A*A*A: £2,000 ( ₹ 1,96,000)

A*A*A*: £3,000 ( ₹ 2,94,000)

A*A A:

— Class 12 (CBSE, CISCE and Maharashtra State Board) – 90%

— Class 12 (West Bengal Board) – 85%

— Class 12 (other state boards) – 91%

AAA

— Class 12 (CBSE, CISCE and Maharashtra State Board) – 85%

— Class 12 (West Bengal Board) – 80%

— Class 12 (other state boards) – 90%

AAB

— Class 12 (CBSE, CISCE and Maharashtra State Board) – 80%

— Class 12 (West Bengal Board) – 75%

— Class 12 (other state boards) – 85%
