Study in US: University of Arizona Global Wildcat Award Available for International Applicants  

The University of Arizona Global Wildcat Award is open for international students for 2024. This is a merit-based scholarship given to 1st year undergraduate students. The scholarship amount is provided based on the student’s GPA at the time of the admission process. There is no separate application for this award. Therefore, a completed admission application for Fall 2024 will serve as the scholarship application. The last date to apply for the same is May 1, 2024. Selected students will receive an email notification.

Global Wildcat Award Eligibility 

The Global Wildcat Award eligibility criteria are as follows. Interested students must meet the conditions to receive the award.

• The international student must meet the merit criteria for the scholarship
• Undergraduate students are only eligible for the scholarship
• The scholarship is available to students conditionally admitted to the CESL U-Track Pathway after the completion of 1 semester and enrollment at the university.
• This is a non-negotiable offer. Therefore, the university does not increase the scholarship amount.
• Moreover, the University of Arizona restricts the use of the scholarship to the semester it awards it.
• If the student resides in Arizona, the scholarship adjusts proportionally based on the resident tuition fees.

Global Wildcat Award Benefits 

The university awards the Global Wildcat Award, a highly competitive scholarship, annually to a selected number of students. The amount given is based on GPA. Note: this GPA is first converted to the US GPA grading system. The exact scholarship amount is as follows.

The beneficiaries of the scholarship would receive an email regarding the same. This scholarship award is not given for any summer term. However, the scholarship amount is renewable for 8 semesters or 4 consecutive years. That is, for fall and spring semesters if the student meets the academic and renewable requirements.
