The University of Plymouth offers several international scholarships for students for the academic year 2024/25. The scholarships are available to students with outstanding academic achievement enrolling in a postgraduate program at the university. Generally, the scholarships cover the tuition fees of the beneficiaries. Only one scholarship of the highest value is awarded to each beneficiary. Interested students can apply for the respective scholarship before the deadline.  The University of Plymouth ranks between 551 and 600 in the world. International Academic Excellence Scholarship

The International Academic Excellence Scholarship is available to outstanding postgraduate students. To be eligible, a student must present an excellent academic record, meet the university’s academic standards, and have received a conditional or unconditional offer letter from the university. The scholarship benefit is a 50% reduction in tuition fees. The last date for application is 30 June for September entry and 30 November for January entry.

Postgraduate Taught International Student Scholarship

The Postgraduate Taught International Student Scholarship value is £2,000 towards the tuition. fee. Those who are undertaking a postgraduate degree for at least 2 years can also receive 10% off the successive year’s tuition fee. That is if the overall grade of 60% or above is maintained. To be eligible, a person must achieve the equivalent of a UK 2:1 degree classification, and meet the English eligibility criteria of the university. However, no application is necessary for the scholarship.

Tuition fee discount for University of Plymouth graduates

The University of Plymouth is offering tuition fee discounts to students who have previously studied and completed an honors degree or a master’s degree program at the university or any of the partner colleges. Most postgraduate-taught master programs offer an Alumni discount to eligible students. For instance, international alumni can receive a £2,000 discount on most postgraduate taught master programs, while students pursuing specific courses such as MSc Research Methods in Psychology from the Faculty of Health can receive a 10% alumni discount.
