Study in Australia: UWA Global Excellence Scholarship Open for Indian Students 

The University of Western Australia (UWA) offers Global Excellence Scholarships to Indian applicants. This scholarship is available to high-achieving students seeking to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies at the university. An undergraduate student can receive a scholarship amount of up to AUD$48,000 for over 4 years on eligible courses. Otherwise, they can receive an amount up to AUD$36,000 for 3 years. On the other hand, a postgraduate student can receive up to AUD$24,000 for 2 years on eligible courses. However, the exact amount of the scholarship will depend on the academic score of the applicant. That is, the score is equivalent to the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or UWA Weighted Average Mark (WAM). You do not need to apply for the UWA Global Excellence Scholarship. 

UWA Global Excellence Scholarship Eligibility

The UWA Global Excellence Scholarship general eligibility requirements are as follows:

• You must have received an offer letter to study an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at the university.
• Moreover, you must have achieved an equivalent score of a minimum ATAR 85.00; or minimum WAM 65.00
• Those enrolling in an approved International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program) must obtain a minimum WAM score equivalent of more than 75.00
• Those who are enrolling in any combined Bachelor’s or combined Master’s degree programs are eligible for the scholarship.
• Assured Pathway to Medicine and Assured Pathway to Dental Medicine are ineligible courses. Similarly, those who are undertaking postgraduate programs like the Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Optometry, Doctor of Dental Medicine, UWA Micro-credentials, and Juris Doctor are ineligible.

UWA Global Excellence Scholarship Amount 2024
