Study in Australia: UQ International High Achievers Award – India Open for 2024

The University of Queensland (UQ) offers International High Achievers Award- India for the academic year 2024. Both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students are eligible. However, you must be an Indian National. The focus of the scholarship is to bring academic diversity to the classrooms. Eligible students will receive the scholarship for the duration of their program (up to 4 years). The benefit is a tuition fee waiver of 20%. The number of scholarship awards may vary depending on availability. The new admission students are automatically taken into consideration. Hence, you do not need to apply for this scholarship.

UQ International High Achievers Award – India Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the UQ International High Achievers Award are as follows:

• You must be an international student and must hold an Indian passport 
• Additionally, you must have applied for a full-time study at UQ commencing in 2024
• Moreover, you must have received an offer letter from the university in an eligible course of study. (Most of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs would be under this category. There are only a few exceptions)
• You must have enrolled full-time at UQ
• However, you must not be a recipient of another scholarship/tuition fee reduction. You must have yet to receive a full sponsorship or scholarship from another organisation. The UQ may consider partial scholarships or sponsorship applicants.

UQ International High Achievers Award – India Selection Process

The UQ International High Achievers Award Selection process is as follows:

• The university gives the award based on eligibility requirements.
• You will receive an email notification regarding the scholarship. The email will include the due date by which you need to meet the outstanding conditions.
• If the offer letter you have received is conditional, you must satisfy the conditions of the program to receive the scholarship

There is no need to apply for the scholarship. UQ considers all applicants who meet the eligibility requirements.. Eligible students will receive an email notification along with their offer letter. The 20% tuition fee reduction is applied before the tuition fees due date each semester.
