La Trobe University is offering High Achievers Scholarships to international students. The scholarship is available to both future undergraduate and postgraduate students at the university. However, this scholarship is only available to on-campus students. The scholarship amount is applied as a discount to the tuition fees for each subject studied for the entire duration of the course. To be eligible applicants must meet all the conditions provided in the Letter of Offer and accept the offer letter by paying the necessary fee deposit before the scholarship is applied. The La Trobe University High Achiever Scholarship applications have been open since 29th September 2023. The last date to apply for the scholarship is on 31st December 2028. The scholarship is worth between 15% to 25% off the annual tuition fee.

The eligibility requirements for the La Trobe University High Achiever Scholarship are as follows. Failure to meet these requirements, and pay the acceptance deposit can result in a scholarship withdrawal
- The applicant must be a citizen of a country other than New Zealand or Australia and must have already applied to an undergraduate or postgraduate course prorgam
- Moreover, the applicant must be a new international student applying for the 2024-25 intakes
- Must apply to an eligible course of study. For example, Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Health Information Management, Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours), etc
- Additionally, the student must not hold a humanitarian or other permanent visa

Interested students can apply for an approved course. After that, the student is automatically considered for the scholarship award. Hence, no separate application is necessary. The percentage of scholarship given is based on the WAM (an average mark that takes into account the credit point value of the subjects studied by the student)and the overall eligibility of the course.
The student’s statement account after the census date will showcase the scholarship amount. However, the applicant must have accepted the offer letter and paid the required deposit.
