Study Abroad: Rhodes Scholarship Webinar to be Conducted on May 24th, 2023

The Rhodes Scholarship is one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The scholarship was established in 1902 and is administered by the Rhodes Trust in Oxford. Each year more than 100 scholarships awarded to full time postgraduate students who are of outstanding intellect and character. Moreover, these students need to demonstrate their interest in solving the global challenges, and serving others. The potential of the candidate to become a value driven and principled leader is also a discerning factor.

In order to assist the student a scholarship webinar to be conducted on May 24th. Interested graduating students can join the virtual session to know more about the same.

Rhodes Scholarship Eligibility Requirements 

The Rhodes Trust has established the following eligibility criteria for the selection of candidates.

• The student must demonstrate academic excellence and the energy to use his/her talent to the full potential. For example, a 1st class Honours degree or a GPA 3.70/4.0 or higher.
• The ‘talent’ here refers to mastery in any area where teamwork is involved. For example, music, dance, debate, sports, and other theater and artistic pursuits.
• Demonstrate qualities such as truth, courage, sympathy for and protection of the weak, devotion to duty, unselfishness, kindliness, and fellowship.
• Possess leadership skills, moral force of character, and demonstrate interest in helping fellow human beings.

Any graduating student can join the Rhodes Scholarship Information Webinar 2023.The virtual information session hosted by the Rhodes House on May 24th, 2023. The May 24th session will be conducted in English for students from Canada. A similar session will be on May 25th in French.

By joining the virtual session an international  student can learn more about the Rhodes scholarship, the expenses covered by the Rhodes Scholarship, and how to apply for the same.
