Study Abroad: More Visa Options for Australia, TOEFL Scores Accepted Again

ETS the Educational Testing Service, the body behind the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) announced that TOEFL scores will again be considered valid for all Australian visa applications. TOEFL IBT is accepted by 100% of Australian universities and over 12,500 institutions worldwide across 160 countries. TOEFL was put under review by the Australian Department of Home Affairs (DHA) in July last year but the scores were no longer being accepted.

Besides TOEFL, Australia also accepts scores from the following tests undertaken at a secure test center for English language visa requirements:

• IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
• PTE (Pearson Test of English)
• CAE (Cambridge English)
• OET (Occupational English Test)
