How to Change the DLI?
Whenever the candidates decide to change their post-secondary institution they are required to inform IRCC. However, there is no need for them to make any adjustments to their study permit requirements. Please follow the steps given below:
- Students must have an offer letter for the new course or college or university in Canada
- Then they must log in to their GCKey account that they used to apply for a study visa in the first place.
- Then they must enter the current study permit application number and then click the “Search for my Application” button.
- Enter the new DLI number, their new student ID number, and their new school’s start date as mentioned on the acceptance letter
- After reviewing the information, they can click on (Confirm Transfer) to finish the process
