Study Abroad: Applications Invited for Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics Postgraduate Scholarships for 2024-25

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CINC) and the  Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus are offering scholarships to Indian nationals. A total of 3 scholarships are available under this category. However, these scholarships are exclusively meant for postgraduate (M.Sc.) students for the academic year 2024-25. Interested students must meet the admission criteria, and apply for the scholarship. The last date for application is on 14th May 2024. This scholarship does not require nomination from the Indian government. Hence, only direct applications are acceptable.

Eligible Courses for CINIC Postgraduate Scholarship

The CINIC postgraduate scholarships are only available to M.Sc students. The number of scholarships and the exact amount for the award can differ based on availability. The available M.Sc programmes funded by this scholarship scheme are provided below 

• M.Sc. in Medical Genetics
• M.Sc. in Molecular Medicine
• M.Sc in Biotechnology
• M.Sc. in Neuroscience
• Similarly, all programmes that are accredited by the EU countries, the Republic of Cyprus, and other countries are eligible.

Generally, a student must have a BA degree from a recognized university in a related field to meet the eligibility criteria of an M.Sc programme. Additionally, the student must present an English language proficiency certificate if the previous degree obtained was not in English. 

CINIC Postgraduate Scholarship Application Process 

The application process for the CINIC postgraduate scholarships is as follows. Note: this scholarship does not involve nomination from the Indian government. The CING, Republic of Cyprus selects the scholarship recipients.

• First, view the CING prospectus containing detailed information regarding the admission process. The information in the prospectus is provided by the Education office to the international applicants. The details of the scholarship and tuition fees are available in this prospectus.

• Lastly, make sure that the application is submitted before the deadline (14th May 2024)
