2. Impact of Weather on Daily Life
Q.1 How does the weather affect your daily routine?
Ans. The weather has a significant impact on my routine. For instance, during the rainy season, I need to carry an umbrella and wear waterproof clothes, which can be quite inconvenient, especially when I have to go to work or run errands. On hot days, I prefer staying indoors to avoid the heat, requiring me to adjust my plans and miss out on activities. The weather also influences my travel arrangements; if a storm is predicted, I might have to cancel a trip. Therefore, the weather truly shapes how I live day to day.
Ans. Certainly, I remember a time when I organized an outing with my friends. We were truly excited about spending the day outdoors, basking in the sun, and relishing the invigorating air. However, on the day of the picnic, it rained heavily. The sky turned gloomy. The rain persisted relentlessly. Consequently we had no choice but to call off our plans – a disappointment, for sure. Nevertheless, we refused to let the weather dampen our spirits! Instead we made the most of our time indoors by engaging in games and sharing captivating tales.
3. Weather and Tourism
Q.1. How does the weather influence tourism in your country?
Ans. The weather plays a crucial role in our country’s tourism industry. In the summertime, tourists are drawn to the beaches to bask in the sun and enjoy the sea. The warm climate is perfect for activities like swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. On the other hand, during winter, tourists head towards mountainous areas for skiing and other winter sports. The snow-covered landscapes provide a different kind of beauty and thrill. However, severe weather conditions such as storms or excessive heat waves can discourage tourists from visiting. Therefore, it’s clear that weather has an impact on the tourism industry by influencing people’s travel choices in terms of destination and timing.
Q.2. Can you describe a time when the weather enhanced your travel experience?
Ans. I once visited a hill station during the monsoon season. The weather was cool and pleasant, offering a welcome respite from the summer heat. The rain brought out the vibrant colors of the flora, enhancing the beauty of the landscapes. The misty mountains and the sound of raindrops on the leaves added a magical touch to the experience. It was a beautiful and memorable journey, reminding me of the beauty and power of nature.
