The admission fee for the Secondary Course (Class 10) is ₹1,800 for male students and ₹1,450 for female students in the general category, while SC/ST, ex-servicemen, and persons with disabilities pay ₹1,200. Application Process for NIOS 10th Admission 2025-26

In order to apply for NIOS 10th admission students need to go through the following steps:

• First, visit the official website of NIOS and tap on the ‘click here to register’ button. 
• Select the state/UT, course, and identity type after this enter the identification number. This will lead a student to a basic details window.
• Now, fill out the basic information such as your father’s name, your name,  gender, address, and your phone number. In order to confirm your details you will need to provide the OTP sent to your mobile by NIOS.
• Fill out the entire form carefully and provide any other information asked after which you will be required to submit the application form.
• After this, you would be required to choose subjects, and your preferred NIOS exam centres and also provide relevant documents.
• The last step is to pay the fees which you can easily do online. Once you pay the fees don’t forget to print the NIOS 10th admission form and the fee receipt for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria for NIOS 10th Admission 2025-26

Following are the 2 criteria that the candidate should fulfil in order to apply for NIOS 10TH admission 2025-26:

1. The student must be 14 years of age.
2. He/she must have cleared 8th class from a recognized board in India.

Documents Required

While applying for NIOS 10th admission students need to upload updated and scanned copies of the following documents and ID proofs.

1. Birth Certificate for proof of date of birth.
2. Recent passport-size coloured photograph.
3. 8th class official mark sheet.
4. Aadhaar card/ Passport/ Ration Card or any other identity proof.
5. Address proof (Electricity bill/ water bill/ voter ID/ Aadhar card/ Ration card)
6. Signature (preferably in black ink)
7. Disability certificate if the student is a PwD candidate.
8. Caste certificate if the student belongs to the SC/ST/OBC category.
