HPU Admission Process
HPU provides UG, PG, and PhD programmes in a range of academic fields. HPU admissions mostly begin in April. The admission to HPU programmes is determined by the results of the entrance exam or qualifying exam administered by HPU. However, admission to medical programmes is based on NEET exam results. - Select the name of the programme you wish to apply to.
- Please review the conditions. Thereafter, the personal information page will be displayed to you.
- Please start by entering your personal information.
- Click “Save” at the bottom of the page once you have finished entering your personal information.
- The password and Unique Registration number will be generated by the system and sent to the registered email address and mobile number. Note it down.
- Select “Move to next step” now.
- Fill out your education information and attach all required documents.
- Click “Submit” now. You will be directed to the fee payment page.
- Pay the application fee.
- Finish and apply.
- Take a printout of the application and save it for your records.

Himachal Pradesh University offers multiple scholarships to the students which are mentioned below:
Students Aid Fund: This scholarship is awarded to low-income, IRDP, BPL, and low-income students, allowing them to pursue higher education at the university level.
Sports Scholarship: 16 students from the teaching departments of the P.G. Centre, Shimla, who excel in sports will receive this scholarship.
Cultural Activists Scholarship: 10 students who have demonstrated excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities are given this scholarship, which comes highly recommended by the department chair.
