The Splendor of Rajiv Gandhi South Campus
The Rajiv Gandhi South Campus (RGSC) adds another dimension to BHU’s educational prowess. It is located in Barkaccha which is approximately 60 kilometres southwest of the main campus. This campus was leased to BHU in perpetuity by the Bharat Mandal Trust in 1979.
The RGSC serves as a hub for agricultural research, emphasizing techniques suitable for the unique Vindhya Range region. In addition to the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, the South Campus boasts a lecture complex, library, student hostels, faculty housing, and administrative block.
