RPVT Exam 2023: New Guidelines, Application Process, Eligibility

Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS) will not grant admission on the basis of the RPVT Exam from 2023-24 onwards. Instead of it, students would now have to apply for the university B.V.Sc and A.H degree courses solely with the NEET exam. Candidates must carefully review all the eligibility criteria before going for the exam. Rajasthan Pre-Veterinary Test (RPVT), is a state-level paper-based entrance exam. The RPVT exam is exclusively available for candidates residing in Rajasthan. Those who successfully clear the RPVT 2023 would have the opportunity to partake in the RPVT counselling procedure for securing admission to BVSc and AH programs within Rajasthan.

RPVT Eligibility Criteria 2023

In order to be eligible to take the Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Test 2023, candidates must fulfil certain requirements as stated below:

Age Criteria

Applicants must be between 17 and 25 years old when submitting their application for RPVT 2023. The age calculation is based on December 31, 2023. 

Academic Qualifications

Candidates should have successfully completed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination in the Science or Biology stream, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, from a recognized Indian Board with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. 

Domicile Criteria

Only Indian citizens residing in Rajasthan are eligible to apply for RPVT 2023.

Physical Disability

As per the Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education-Degree Course (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Regulations-2016, candidates with certain disabilities cannot apply for RPVT 2023. These disabilities include:

– Total body disability exceeding 50%, including chest/spine disability.

– Disability affecting more than 50% of the lower limb.

– Upper limb disability.

– Visual or hearing impairments.

RPVT Application Process 2023

The online application form for RPVT 2023 will be accessible. In order to complete the application form for the RPVT 2023 examination, candidates need to register first. How to Fill Out the Application Form?

The RPVT 2023 Application Form will become available in June 2023. Those who wish to apply to the University need to complete the University’s application form and submit it before the specified deadline. 

To initiate the registration process, candidates must visit the official website and provide their personal details while creating a password. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Visit rajuvas.org, the official website of RPVT.

2. Choose “Apply Online.”

3. Click on ‘New Registration’ from the provided link.

4. Fill out the required form to register on the university database.

5. After successful RPVT 2023 Registration, candidates can proceed to fill out the application form.

6. Candidates are required to make the test fee payment, which can only be done online once after entering their details and uploading the necessary documents.

7. The application fee for RPVT 2023 is INR 3000 for all candidates.

8. The application process will complete after payment.

9. It is advisable for candidates to keep a printed copy of the application form for their records.

RPVT 2023 Admit Card 

Candidates who meet the deadline for submitting the application form will receive an admit card for RPVT 2023. To obtain their RPVT admit card, candidates must download it from RAJUVAS’ official website, rajuvas.org, using their unique login ID and password that were created during the registration process. 

It is mandatory for candidates to bring the admit card to the exam centre as failure to do so will result in denial of entry.

RPVT 2023 Result

Once the answer sheets have been assessed, the RPVT 2023 results will be made available online by the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. The result for each candidate is determined based on the marking scheme. 

It is important to note that mark sheets will not be sent by mail to individual candidates. Instead, candidates will need to download the result from the website to access their exam performance. Subsequently, a merit list will be published, containing the candidate’s name, roll number, rank, and marks.

RPVT 2023 Counseling
