Yes, KMAT is a necessary exam to get admission to MBA Programs in Kerala. Candidates who have written the widely accepted exams like CAT, CMAT or MAT will also have to give KMAT Kerala Exam to get admission in any of the KMAT Kerala Participating Colleges.
The passing score for KMAT Kerala is 15% for the General category 10% for SEBC Candidates and 7.5% for reserved SC, ST or PwD categories. This accounts for 107 marks, 72 marks and 54 marks respectively.
