CSIR-NET-Cut-Off

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the CSIR NET 2023 exam cut-off marks after conducting the examination. CSIR NET cut off is the minimum mark that you need to secure to clear the examination. This examination is conducted twice a year, in June and December. The cut-off mark will be made available for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/ Assistant Professor after the exam is conducted. CSIR NET Cut-Off (December 2023)📍

National Testing Agency will declare the cut-off for the exam soon, once the exam has been conducted. The CSIR NET examination for December 2023 is scheduled to be conducted from 26 to 28 December 2023. However, you can access the CSIR NET June 2023 examination Cut-Off 2023 below.

Factors Affecting CSIR NET Cut Off – 2023💁‍♀️

There are different factors that are taken into consideration before preparing a cut-off list. Below we are stating some of them ⬇️

  • Total number of students that are appearing in the CSIR NET examination 2023. 
  • The difficulty level of the examination is also considered while preparing the cut-off list for 2023.

Important Points To Consider

There are some important points listed down by National Testing Agency (NTA) for the CSIR Cut-off and the merit list.

  • There is no different CSIR NET cut-off Parts A, B & C. The combined marks of the parts have been considered by the CSIR to prepare the merit list.
  • The merit list ranks are firstly allotted to those candidates who have successfully cleared for JRF as per the merit list of JRF and then the candidates are bifurcated among CSIR and UGC, except Bachelor’s degree students who are allotted to CSIR.
  • EWS & OBC, General Category students need to secure a minimum of 33 percent, and SC/ST and PWD students need to have at least 25 percent for both fellowship and lectureship.
