Sambhaji Raje Bhosale

Sambhaji Maharaj was born to Shivaji Maharaj and his first wife, Saibai. 

• Sambhaji Maharaj succeeded his father as the ruler of the Maratha Empire after Shivaji Maharaj’s death in 1680.
• He faced many challenges during his reign, including wars with the Mughal Empire and internal conflicts within the Maratha Empire. 
• Despite the difficulties he faced, Sambhaji Maharaj is remembered as a brave and resilient ruler and is known as “Dharamveer Maharaj”.

Rajaram Raje Bhosale

Rajaram Maharaj was the younger son of Shivaji Maharaj and his wife Soyarabai. 

• He was born in 1670 and was also actively involved in the Maratha Empire’s affairs. 
• After the death of his brother Sambhaji Maharaj in 1689, Rajaram Maharaj took over the reins of the empire as the Third Chhatrapati. 
• Despite facing numerous challenges and invasions from the Mughals, Rajaram Maharaj continued to lead the Maratha forces with courage and determination.
