Hello, Myself Harshil and I am from Udaipur (Rajasthan), I am currently in class 11 and planning to study abroad after 12th but I don't know how and where to get started and how to make my resume to get into world best universities like Stanford, University of munich (germany qs rank:34), university of Tokyo (qs: 20 below) I know these are some big aspiration but I have almost 18 months. I want to do btech in electronics and communication or computer science. And how should my resume look like, what events should I participate and if their is way to make a extracurricular record if I don't have any till now. And please tell me about scholarships eligibility and criteria cause I am not financially well to afford very high fees (or any student loans and where to apply) #StudyAbroadDreams #IndianStudentsInFocus #ScholarshipSeekers

Hi Harshil! It’s great that you’re setting high goals and planning ahead. To build a strong profile for top universities like Stanford, the University of Munich, or the University of Tokyo, focus on excelling academically (aim for top scores in your board exams and entrance tests like SAT, JEE, or university-specific exams). Participate in STEM-related competitions like Olympiads (Maths, Physics, or Computer Science) or hackathons, and try to publish a research paper or work on innovative projects. For extracurriculars, engage in community service, join tech clubs, or learn programming and robotics. Scholarships like DAAD (for Germany), MEXT (for Japan), and Stanford’s need-based aid are great options to explore. Maintain a strong resume by showcasing leadership roles, internships, or certifications (like Python or AI). Let me know if you’d like help crafting a detailed plan!

Mam, when you talk about STEM olympiad do you mean NSEP,NSEC,INMO ETC. As per Hackathons I don't have a environment where it is promoted much or talked about. We get no information about these things. Also their are as such no tech clubs in my locality. Also I don't think it would be possible to manage olympiad prep, jee prep, learning a second language(Japanese or german),learning programming and internship all together. But I am open to your thoughts and please can you tell me where to ask for advice or detailed plan from you as I am very confused about it
