Immigration in UK requires Secure English Language Test pass results, I have a IELTS score of 6.5 in IELTS academics but in my offer letter of queen mary University of London they have clearly mentioned that IELTS for UKVI should be there for the immigration. Is it necessary to have IELTS for UKVI(academic) rather than regular IELTS (academic)? Can anyone help me elaborating this.

If the university has accepted your english score then UKVI will not be against your english proficency. So Chill! I was selected on behalf on duoligo and got a successful Visa for Jan intake.

Saksham, in your case it has been so because the university okayed it. But if not, as mentioned in Hritik's offer letter, then better take UKVI to avoid unnecessary trouble later.
