Established in 1975, the Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) is a public university in New Zealand, with campuses located in Hawke's Bay, Auckland, and Gisborne. Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) has a total of three campuses located in Hawke's Bay. Tairawhiti and Auckland.  Hawke's Bay is known as one of the country's most famous campuses due to its shaded outdoor regions and mesmerizing architecture. EIT Tairawhiti is situated right in the middle of Gisborne close to the Taruheru and the location of the institute on Queen Street makes it one of the most ideal destinations for higher education in NZ. These campuses have top-notch facilities including high-tech trades workshops, fully-equipped wine science, professional standard training kitchens, and a viticulture lab.
