Study in UK: Invitation of Applications From University of Manchester for MSc Renewable Energy and Clean Technology

NEW DELHI: The University of Manchester has opened the application period for the 2023. For this academic year; MSc in Renewable Energy and Clean Technology (REaCT). The MSC module focuses on the primary renewable energy generation technologies and the variables that have aided in their utilization. The programme applications must be submitted by July 31.

The annual cost of tuition for the 12-month full-time programme is roughly £33,500 (INR 30,35,081 Lakh). 

The MSc course will concentrate on “principles of solar, wind, and marine energy technologies as well as the knowledge required to understand the following. The efficient distribution of renewables; their integration into use in zero carbon-built infrastructure; and to determine the economic and climate issues affecting the choice of renewable,” according to the official statement.

Furthermore, after earning their MSc in REaCT, students would have various options. Like of working in the technology sector or pursuing higher education. It can include PhD in developing similar technologies. According to the statement, the students will have access to the university’s High Voltage Lab and Photo Science Institute.

According to the official statement, applicants must have earned an upper second-class honors degree (2:1) or its international equivalent in any of the following fields. Electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering, physics, or an equivalent scientific field that found on substantial mathematical and engineering content.

Students with pertinent industrial experience will also be taken into consideration. The student’s qualifying degree’s institution rank will be in consideration during the selection process. Furthermore, proof of English language proficiency test is also require for all students attending international universities.
