Brunel University London (BUL) offers the Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Award for international students. This scholarship is available for students with exceptional academic records, and having determination to make positive contributions to their community. The scholarship benefit is a tuition fee discount. This scholarship does not require you to send in a separate application. However, you need to apply for admission to the University in a postgraduate course starting in September 2024. The deadline for this is 31st August 2024.
Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Brunel University scholarships are as follows:
- You must have secured a minimum of 2:1 and above or equivalent undergraduate degree that is internationally recognised
- Moreover, you must have secured an offer letter to study a postgraduate programme at the university. This programme must be starting in September 2024.
- You are also required to pay the fees course deposit fee (£5,000) by 31st August 2024
Vice Chancellor Excellence Award Value
The Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Award benefit is as follows:
- You will receive a tuition fee reduction of £5,000 for the 1st year of study
- You will receive this discount when you are fully enrolled at the University. If you qualify for more than one scholarship, the University will allocate the award with the maximum benefit.
How to Apply for the Vice Chancellor Excellence Award for International Students?
To apply for the Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Award follow the steps below:
- Apply for a postgraduate programme before the deadline
- Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria for the scholarship by 31st August 2024
- Thereafter, your application will be considered automatically for the scholarship
- The university will let you know about the outcome of your application.
Note: The Vice Chancellor Excellence Award for International Students is only available to self-funding students. Similarly, those sponsored by the government or an external institution are ineligible to apply. The scholarship is also not available to Postgraduate Research applicants (i.e. PhD, MPhil).
