Study in UK: Applications Open for UoS Faculty of Science Scholarship for Online Masters Students 

The University of Strathclyde (Uos) offers scholarships to online students enrolling in a Faculty of Science program. The scholarships are only available to new students for the September intake. Some of the eligible programs in the in the 2024-25 academic year are as follows:

• MSc Applied Statistics in Health Sciences (online)
• MSc Applied Statistics (online)
• MSc Applied Statistics with Data Science (online)
• MSc Applied Statistics in Finance (online)

The scholarship benefit is an amount of £1,800 for 2 to 3 years. The university awards this scholarship competitively to those who demonstrate academic excellence and relevant extracurricular or professional experience. Because we award the scholarship on a rolling basis, recipients may receive their awards early. Hence, you must apply early. The deadline for the application is 15th August 2024.

Faculty of Science Scholarship for Online Masters Students Eligibility 

The eligibility requirements for the University of Strathclyde Faculty of Science Scholarship for Online Masters Students are as follows:

• Must be a new student holding an offer letter for an online MSc in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics for September entry (2024-25)
• Additionally, you must be self-funding your education. 
• Recipients of full scholarships like a government scholarship, or an embassy scholarship are not eligible
• Moreover, to receive the scholarship you must enrol in the first year of an online master’s degree program. (September 2024).  You must continue to meet the eligibility requirements for the course duration.
• The beneficiaries must engage in online student ambassador activities for the course duration. For example, supporting online student recruitment activities.

Faculty of Science Scholarship for Online Masters Students Application Process

The application process for the Faculty of Science Scholarship for Online Masters Students is as follows:

• Apply for an eligible Faculty of Science program (online)
• Next, receive an offer letter from the university  
• In the offer letter, a scholarship link will be provided 
• Go to the link to apply for the scholarship before the deadline

Note: there are only 30 scholarship awards available. The scholarship will be allocated from 17th January 2024.
