According to an official announcement, the University of Essex’s Essex Law School in the UK has announced intentions to offer Ian James Evans Scholarships to undergraduate and graduate law students to help with the cost of tuition for 2023–24 enrollment.
According to the official statement, candidates and study abroad aspirants for the undergraduate scholarship must be wheelchair users, deaf, or blind. The scholarship for applicants to an undergraduate LLB programme is worth £9,250 (Rs 9,21,000), which will cover domestic tuition fees (UK), or an equal discount for study abroad applicants, as well as £500 (Rs 49,800) per year for books and other course expenses.
One scholarship, worth £9,660 (Rs 9,62,000) to cover domestic (UK) tuition fees for postgraduate students pursuing an LLM in international human rights law and who can show they are struggling financially, is available from Essex Law School. Study abroad applicants may also be eligible for a fee reduction of the same amount.
Students must begin their first year of study in 2023–2024 on an undergraduate LLB course at Essex Law School. By July 31st, 2023, UCAS applicants must formally declare their definite preference for Essex. If an applicant joins Essex after being turned down by their first definite choice pick elsewhere, they are not automatically eligible. Direct Applicants have until July 31, 2023, to accept their offer.
Students must submit their applications before the deadline to be eligible for these scholarships. The scholarship application deadline is midnight on July 31, 2023. Students can submit an application for the scholarship via the University of Essex’s official website. It is significant to note that late applications won’t be taken into account. The essay you submit with your scholarship application must explain how the award will help you fulfill your academic and legal commitments.
A scholarship announcement is a tremendous relief for the students because scholarships are crucial for helping students who want to study abroad and at home manage their costs.
