3. Coca-Cola India Seeks Investors for Bottling Business:
Coca-Cola India plans to sell part of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, its bottling business, seeking $800 million to $1 billion in investments. The company has approached the Bhartia, Burman, Parekh, and Asian Paints promoter families for this venture, aiming to expand its operations.

4. Mizoram Awaits Central Approval for Myanmar Refugees’ Biometric Enrollment:
The Mizoram government is waiting for central approval to begin biometric enrollment for over 33,000 Myanmar refugees. This follows directives from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs to capture biometric data of “illegal immigrants” by September last year.

5. Supreme Court Pauses Proceedings on NEET-UG 2024 Paper Leak:
The Supreme Court has stayed proceedings in petitions from three high courts regarding the alleged NEET-UG 2024 paper leak. It also sought responses from the National Testing Agency and others. The pleas, including one seeking exam cancellation, will be heard on July 8. 

6. India Advances with Deep Sea Mission: 
India is set to become the sixth country with a Deep Sea Mission, according to Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister. This initiative includes mineral exploration, ocean science development, and marine biodiversity conservation, aiming to empower ocean-dependent communities.

7. Uttar Pradesh Board to Implement NEP 2020 Changes:
The Uttar Pradesh Board will implement substantial changes for classes 9 and 10 from the 2025-26 academic session, following National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines. These modifications aim to improve the educational framework and align with modern educational standards.

8. Indian Startups Cut 10,000 Jobs Amid Funding Challenges
In 2024, Indian startups laid off about 10,000 employees due to funding issues and cost-cutting strategies. Despite a decrease in layoffs compared to 2023, companies like Swiggy, Ola, and Byju’s continue to face challenges in maintaining profitability.
