Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology course admissions are accepted based on the KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE). It is an all-India entrance test conducted by KIIT. It helps get admission to various courses at KIIT.
However, if you want to get admission into M.B.B.S. and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses, you will have to take the NEET test. Additionally, to apply for the MBA/ PGDM courses,
you will have to take the KIITEE Management/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT test.

Following is the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology course admissions process, you can follow the step-by-step procedure below.
Step 1: Apply for the Relevant Entrance Exam
Students are required to appear and clear the relevant entrance exam, i.e. KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE), CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or GMAT.
Step 2: Submit the Examination Score Online
Once the exams are over, you need to apply for the KIIT School of Management by submitting the score of the relevant entrance exam. You can submit the score through the institute’s admission portal.
Step 3: KIIT Group Discussion Round
The candidates who are shortlisted are required to appear for the group discussion round. Once you clear this round, you will be eligible for the personal interview round.
Step 4: KIIT Personal Interview and Final Selection
The candidates who clear the group discussion round will be called for a face-to-face interview. Once you clear this personal interview stage, you will again be considered for the final selection based on entrance exam scores, academic performance, GD/WAT, PI, and sometimes work experience.

- Here, click on New Registration and add all the initial details required.

Scholarships at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology

Pradyumna Bal Memorial Scholarship
In honour of the late Pradyumna Kishore Bal, KIIT is founder and president, scholarships are awarded to the students. In this scholarship, the deserving student is given a completely free education at a gap of two years. The scholarship pays for books, mess, and other living expenses in addition to the cost of attending college. The selection committee will make the ultimate determination about which candidate to choose.
KIIT Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarship
KIIT Institute offers this poverty-cum-merit scholarship to students in need of financial assistance. This scholarship will be awarded based solely on the amount and need of the students. The selection committee will make the final decision on selecting the candidate.
Teaching Assistantship
KIIT recently launched a living-learning programme for the students of the M.Tech. programme. This programme was started to provide benefits to postgraduate students, who want to supplement their income during their student phase and gain experience in teaching/research. The number of awards is flexible, but the decision is in the hands of the management of KIIT University.
KIIT Merit Scholarship
The KIIT Merit Scholarship varies between 5000 INR – 10000 INR per month. This scholarship is offered to the 1st position holder in the semester examinations for 6 months.
KIIT Merit Scholarship
The KIIT institute offers free education to the KIITEE-2020 (only for B.Tech. (4 years) toppers, if they are KIIT students. Additionally, the institute offers scholarships to the top 1000 rank holders of KIITEE 2020 (B.Tech. – 4 years), subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria. Likewise, the same scholarships are released for the subsequent financial years.
KIIT International Scholarship

PhD Scholarship
KIIT Deemed to be University provides a full-time PhD scholarship of 20000 INR per month.
Contingency Fund
A contingency fund of 50000 INR is available for both full-time PhD and M. Tech students.
