The Tie-Breaking Rule for the 2024 JEE Advanced Rank List
When creating the rank list, the following tie-breaking procedure will be applied if two or more candidates received identical scores in JEE Advanced 2024.
- A higher rank will be awarded to those with more favourable test results.
- In the event of a tie, precedence will be given to the applicant who scored higher in mathematics.
- The applicants with the highest physics score will receive a higher rank if the tie hasn’t been broken yet.
- Lastly, the candidates will be assigned the same ranks if the tie continues.
