The University is organized into 20 colleges and schools in which more than 44,000 students from 50 states and 127 countries enroll annually. The University offers a dynamic and comprehensive academic program and also contributes to the economy of the State of Wisconsin by being one of the largest recruiters in the state, by employing approximately 21,600 members of staff and faculty. The university also provides a unique experience that places equal importance on co-curricular activities, it boasts of having 23 Big ten Varsity Teams and having over 900 student run organisations on campus.
