The University of Fraser Valley is established in 1974 at British Colombia, Canada. Initially, the university was named as Fraser Valley college and university college of Fraser Valley. The university was established to full fill the need for vocational education in the communities of Fraser Valley. To meet the growing needs of the citizens of the province, the government granted complete university status to the university on 21 April 2008. With the support of the students, the government approved the university status of the college. Presently there are more than 15,176 students in the university which are educated by 710 staff members. The University of Fraser is affiliated by many different bodies like U sports, AUCC, CUP, CBIE, CWUSS etc. The university has five distinguished campuses in the world, and this is one of the international universities which have their campuses in India as well. The enrollment in the university is growing day by day. This is the reason why the university increases the seats for the students. The university operations are funded around $60 million annually. There are various programs for which the students can enroll like Bachelor's degree, diploma, associate degree, masters degree and citations. The degree programs of the university are available in various faculties like fine arts, social science, applied communication, humanity science, nursing, business, technology and trade. The university also established three schools. The university has more than 10,000 alumni across the world. The motto of the university is "house of transformation".
