The native name of the college is the "College of the holy and undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth" . Commonly this college is known as Trinity College was founded by Queen Elizabeth I in the year 1592. Previously, the college was built outside the city walls of Dublin, but at current college is surrounded by Central Dublin and is located at the College Green. This college is considered to be one of the most prestigious and elite universities of Europe and Ireland. Trinity College Dublin is known to have a very distinctive relationship with the University of Cambridge and Oxford University. Their library is the legal deposit library in Ireland. The library consists of more than 6 million printed volumes including manuscripts, maps, current serials, and printed music. The college covers the total area of around 190,000 m2 with 2 playing grounds for students and a chapel. The college offers students with courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The school is known to have taught a total of 17,000 international students, which includes around 12000 undergraduate students and 5000 postgraduate students. Students of NUI Galway awarded the awards such as entrance exhibition (for students who enter with exceptional leaving certificate), and a scholarship, these awards are distributed annually.
