The native name of the college is the "College of the holy and undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth" . Commonly this college is known as Trinity College was founded by Queen Elizabeth I in the year 1592. Previously, the college was built outside the city walls of Dublin, but at current college is surrounded by Central Dublin and is located at the College Green.
