Auezov South Kazakhstan State University is a public based higher education university situated in the rural areas of the Shymkent, South Kazakhstan. The university was founded in 1943 and is accredited by the Education and Science Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is one of the top co educational institutes of Kazakhstan and comprises of eleven main faculties, including, Faculty of Chemical Engineering Faculty of Telecom and Automated Systems Faculty of Sports and Tourism Faculty of Agro-industrial Culture Faculty of Food and Light Industry It enrols more than 3,500 international students annually in various disciplines. Most programs are taught in the English language, along with their native language also. It also holds the membership from EURASHE and also attains the membership from Eurhodip. It is a non-profitable university. The QS world university ranking ranks it in the top 500 world universities. It comprises of nearly 1499 academic staff members in which around above 700 are teaching staff and the rest of them are academic staff members.
