Parkland College came into existence in 1871 and since then, it has been a source of high-quality academic education. The College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. It aims at offering high-quality education to assist students in achieving their goals. The college is also affiliated with the popular University of Saskatchewan.
Infrastructure, Campuses, and Courses
The college comprises 6 campuses and one training centre that together work in availing all the popular certificate, diploma and bachelor's courses. Owing to the institution's performance, it has been certified by the Designated Learning Institution, thus, it offers Student Direct Stream for India, Vietnam, China and the Philippines. In addition to the basic programs in management and health science, you will also get to choose from streams like Adult Basic Education, Cannabis Workplace Safety for Employees, Fundamentals of Welding, Ground Disturbance, etc.
The college offers courses in journalism, nutrition and pharmacy, sociology, personality dimensions, power engineering, veterinary medicine, etc. 10 major departments of study allow students to choose the course of their interest.
Accomplishments and Alumni
The alumni network at Parkland College was founded in 1969 and is called the Parkland College Foundation. It works closely with alumni, corporations and foundations to ensure that Parkland College is able to provide some of the best opportunities to present and past students. Some of the most famous sportsmen and women in the history of Canada have been to Parkland College such as Mark Carleson and Bonnie Blair.
