Northern Arizona University (NAU) is a public research university situated in Flagstaff, Arizona. Governed by the Arizona Board of Regents, NAU has been ranked as the third-best college by American Institute of Economic Research. Further, it has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and provides more than 158 baccalaureate and graduate degree courses. The university is home to over 30,000 students and has incorporated the Western Undergraduate Exchange Program that lowers tuition fees of students coming from the Western United States. Further, it also offers the Pledge program to undergraduate students across the world to help them pursue higher education at the same tuition rate for four years. The university also has a smaller statewide campus which avails more than 9,000 online accredited programs at NAU’s statewide campuses in the region. The flagstaff campus has 21 residence halls that provide accommodation facilities to local as well as international students. NAU also has over 400 recognised social, academic and professional organisations which are run by students and are associated with global academic institutions. It also provides intramural recreation activities to students and hosts a variety of individual and team sports championships around the year.
