Mission college is a small, two-year community college which started its operations in 1979. Located in the city of St. Clara, the college offers 81 degree and certificate courses to more than 9,000 students enrolled in various disciplines. Associate degree is the highest degree awarded by the college. Business, Marketing, Management, Biomedical Sciences are some of the best-known courses of the college. The Mission College follows an open admission policy and its admission process starts by 1st October for the winter and spring sessions. For the summer and fall semesters, it starts by 1st April. Considered as one of the largest academic institutions in the state of California, the mission college organises a college fair every year. There is a Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA) portal on which students can register themselves for scholarship programmes. It has many committees like Grants Advisory Committee, Student Service Council, Governance and Planning Council, and Distance Learning Committee. The college offers various services to its students including A Veteran’s and a career centre, library, STEM programs, extended opportunity programs, CalWORKs, Puente, and Trio programs.
