Capilano University is one of the largest public University based on the North Vancouver British Columbia Canada. The University was emerged in 1968. Initially it was known as Capilano College. The university was established by natives and the residents of the north shore to fulfill the need of a public organization to serve the native communities. Initially, 784 students were Android in the different programs of the university. According to recent reports, more than 8500 students enrolled in the university every year. The endowment value of the university is $102 million and to acquire the accommodation at the University campus the students to pay fee 3.9 lacs. The university is accepting students from abroad as well acceptance rate of the university is around 6.5%, which is huge. The Government of Canada sponsors the university to conduct a scholarship program for aboriginal, First Nations and Metis students include Bank of Montreal. Students can enroll through this sponsorship programs to make their entry possible in the University. There is a Student organization in Capilano University named as Capilano student union which take care the requirements of students and it became a medium of the communication between the students of the University and board members of the university. It is independently operated by the student society. Capilano University encourages creative writing among students. The student society is allowed to publish a magazine named as "The Liar". In alumni of the university, there are more than 20000 students.
