The State University of New York at Binghamton also known as Binghamton University and SUNY Binghamton is a public research university was founded in 1946. Initially Binghamton University(formerly known as Triple Cities College) was a liberal arts college and has evolved over time to become a large research University. The University has over 17,500 students and campuses in Binghamton, Vestal and Johnson City stretching over an area of more than 930 acres. Binghamton offers more than more than 130 undergraduate courses, 60 Master's, 30 doctorate and 50 Accelerated degrees.
