Belarusian State University (BSU) is the first National University of Belarus and is situated in the city of Minsk. Founded in the year 1921, the university offers an array of graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs to its more than 44,000 student population. Out of this, close to around 29,000 students are enrolled in undergraduate courses. The university also offers more than 142 research-based subjects across 16 faculties. Almost all the courses are taught both in the Russian and English languages. Every year, more than 3,000 international students are admitted to the university. While BSUs main campus is situated near the city center, the 2nd campus is located on the Southwestern outskirts of Minsk. The central library of the Belarusian university houses more than 2 million volumes, books, and journals. Some of the popular courses are in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Nuclear Research. The Central Research Institute of BSU is known for conducting high-level research in various disciplines of science. The university is also a founding member of the Eurasian University Association. BSUs campus houses more than 70 computer labs and 4 integrated media classrooms.
