Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and embarked upon its journey as the Albany College of Pharmacy in 1881 and was one of the only 14 pharmacy schools operating in the USA at that time. The college offers degrees at all three levels, this include- doctorate programmes, master degree programmes and bachelor degree programmes . The college at large has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and its Doctorate programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). The college has 2 campuses, one each in Albany and Vermont. The Albany Campus offers 3 on campus residence halls – South Hall, Notre Dame Hall and the Holland and Princeton suites. The college offers scholarships for both national and international students and nearly 97% receive financial aid and the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has been ranked the number 1 value added college in USA.
