Data show that in February of this year, approximately 1,43,000 students arrived in Australia, which is 93,270 more than during the same time last year.
According to the most recent data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), Australia is making progress in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and drawing a steady stream of foreign students.
The ABS reported earlier this year that there were 111 percentage points more foreign students in Australia than there were in the same month last year, going from 28,030 to over 500,000.
As per the trend in November 2022, there were 613,327 students from other countries, out of these 3,60,358 enrolled at higher education institutions.
