IILET FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

The starting date of the application form is 16 January 2023. The conducting body will activate the link on the official website for submitting the application.

The last date to fill out the application form is 12 March 2023.

The IILET Exam date is yet to be announced by the Indore Insitute of Law.

(1) The candidates must have passed class 12th with the recognised board.
(2) The candidates belonging to the General Category must have scored 45% marks and for SC/ST candidates the scores must be 40%.
(3) The candidates who appeared or are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for IILET 2023.

(1) Visit the official page of the Indore Institute of Law.
(2) Click on the link of “ILET Form- 2023”
(3) A new window will open and candidates have to click on “Register” for the new user.
the registration page will get open, fill in the required details like personal information and education details.
(4) Once the details are filled then select the strong password.
(5) Then click on the Register button.
(6) After registration, a confirmation mail will be sent on the mail id provided
(7) Click on the link directed towards ‘activating the account’
(8) Enter the mobile number and the OTP received on it. Now submit the application.

There is a total of 5 sections in the IILET Exam which are English Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques.

The syllabus of General Knowledge and Current Affairs is as follows:
(1) Current events in India and around the world
(2) General Knowledge of sports, geopolitics and important environmental agreements
(3) Current affairs in entertainment, business, economics and technology.

The syllabus of Legal Reasoning is as follows:
(1) Fact situations or scenarios involving legal matters, public policy questions or moral philosophical enquiries.
(2) General awareness of legal and moral issues and Indian Constitutional Law and Polity.

There are a total of 150 questions of multiple-choice questions.

The maximum number of marks for the IILET 2023 Entrance Exam is 150.

The marking scheme of IILET 2023 is +1 for every correct answer and -0.25 for each wrong response.

The admit card of IILET will be released in online mode. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of the Indore Institute of Law.

(4) Enter the login id and password and the admit card will appear
(5) Download the admit card and take the printout of it.

The result of the IILET Exam will release on the official website of the Indore Institute of Law.

(4) The result will appear on the screen.
(5) Then candidates can download the result

The counselling process for the IILET exam will take place after the declaration of results will be released by the conducting body. Candidates who will qualify for IILET 2023 will be called for Personal Interview (PI).
