Study Abroad: Stay Order Issued by Canada on Deportation Notices of Indian Students
The Canadian Government issued a stay order for Indian students studying in Canada.
This was possible due to the continuous efforts of the Indian government and with the help of S Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister of India.
Several students were threatened with deportation accusing them of obtaining fake visas by the Canadian Government.
A few students have recently received stay orders on their deportation notices.
Jaishankar stated the fact that the Indian students were not at fault.
