G20 Summits Brings Opportunities for Architecture Students

The G20 summit is an annual international meeting of the leaders of the world’s 20 largest economies. The G20 was established in 1999 as a forum for international economic cooperation and decision-making, and it includes the 19 countries with the largest economies in the world (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States) as well as the European Union.

The summit covers a range of issues, including macroeconomic policy, international trade, climate change, and global development. The G20 is also a platform for leaders to engage in bilateral and multilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit.

The G-20 Initiative is a union of 19 of the world’s most powerful economies and the EU. Founded in 1999, it covers economies that account for 85% of world GDP, 75% of world trade, and more than two-thirds of the world’s population. The G-20 is a collective, non-hierarchical organisation that has played an important role in facilitating world trade.
