Washington University in St. Louis has many residential halls on campus including South 40, The Village, Zeta Beta Tau house, North Side residence halls and several apartment blocks near the Danforth Campus. All freshman year students are required to stay on campus residential hostels and halls in their first year. The rooms are available on a private and sharing basis with all basic amenities provided. The average cost of stay in residential halls ranges $10,000 to $12,000 per year including the meal plans.
