  • Washington University in St. Louis has sports teams which are named the Bears who are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and participate in the University Athletic Association at the Division III level. The Bears have won 19 NCAA Division III Championships.Washington University in St. Louis offers on campus residential and accommodation facilities to all students. Washington University in St. Louis has many residential halls on campus including South 40, The Village, Zeta Beta Tau house, North Side residence halls and several apartment blocks near the Danforth Campus. All freshman year students are required to stay on campus residential hostels and halls in their first year. The rooms are available on a private and sharing basis with all basic amenities provided. The average cost of stay in residential halls ranges $10,000 to $12,000 per year including the meal plans.
